Hammer Brand USA Tiny VERNON Pocket Knife 2\" VINTAGE (c.1938-41) IMPERIAL Shell:

This Hammer Brand USA Tiny Trapper Pocket Knife is a vintage collectible from the 1930s to 1940s. The knife features a 1.5 inch carbon steel blade with a plain edge and clip point and pen blade type as well. The handle is made of synthetic material resembling an iridescent ivory color with an amofferextrous dexterity opening mechanism. The knife has a slipjoint lock type and is manually opened.

No bail, but there is a hole available for an attachment.

VERNON very clearly carved into the side of one of the scales. Although Hammer Brand isn\'t visible on the tang, both patent numbers match an identical knife in my collection. Up close you can faintly see the \"H\" in Hammer on the tang.

Adorable (yet practical!) 2 inch size, 3.5 inch open.

The scales are holding up nicely (aside from Vernon\'s addition...), and the blades are in decent shape, just discolored carbon steel. There\'s not really a snap to the blades -- as small as this is I\'m not sure there ever was?
