Tribute to Terror No. 32 was a comic book that was released exclusively in the Halloween Horror Nights Tribute Store (2023) during Halloween Horror Nights 32. The comic book featured a collection of 4 horrifying stories:
All four stories were narrated and presented by The Curator, who makes his presence known at the beginning and the ending of each story.
1 - Grave Consequences - Artist Greg Duffy
Two grave robbers named Bernie & Jack decided to venture into the old Hollow Hills Graveyard. One of the graves they plotted to steal from belonged to Lord Graham II. One of the robbers felt uneasy about the whole situation, but the other convinces him to keep digging into Grahams\' grave. Both robbers were stunned and full of shock and fear as the undead corpse of Graham rose from his grave, along with fellow corpses from nearby graves. The undead circled around Bernie and Jack, telling the men that it\'s time to pay for their crimes.
2 - False Idols Part 1: A Boris Shuster Story - Artist Adam Hostetler
Boris Shuster is in mourning after the death of his brother Jake Shuster, who was shot mysteriously over a case that he got too involved in. It was now up to Boris to investigate the case. He was visited by his brother\'s informant Gladys O\'Rourke, who gave Boris a key to a locker that could help him gather more evidence as to what was going on. As they made their way to the location where the locker was, they noticed that they were being followed by a mysterious fish person. Making it to their destination, the pair opened the locker. Gladys told Boris this what he was looking for, making Boris puzzled as he couldn\'t understand why anyone would want an ancient Cthulhu-like statue that\'s eyes glowed red. Both Gladys\'s and Boris\'s discovery was interrupted by Mr. Barnabas, who had been following them, as well as a mysterious man named Obed Guttmann who claimed that the statue was his. Guttmann showed Shuster and O\'Rourke his cane, which had a similar glowing statue attached to it.
As Guttman ordered Boris to hand over the statue, Shuster began to fire in the direction of Guttmann and Barnabas. Barnabas jumped out of his coat and leapt towards Boris, only to be shot through the chest, causing him to fall to ground and die. The bullet ricocheted into the right eye of Guttmann as Boris and O\'Rourke passed them, going up the stairs and leaving. As they left, Guttmann yelled a warning that the Cthulhu-like creature would reign again whether Boris liked it or not. Boris and O\'Rourke stopped in their tracks seeing a dark tall figure in front of them, O\'Rourke shouted to Boris to read the inscription on the idol. As he held it up in the air, he faced the tall creature only to realize in shock that red paint was washing off the little totem, revealing it as a fake. The story ends, with his fate presumably not being revealed until the next issue.
3 - Pay Up! - Artist Kevin Kaphamer
A motorcycle group heads over to Jim\'s Diner to pay a visit to Old Jim, the owner of the diner. When they arrived, they were surprised by a new employee who told the group that Old Jim decided to go on a \"vacation\" and won\'t be back for quite some time. One of the members of the group said to the waiter that old Jim would let them have whatever they wanted at the diner as payment so that they wouldn\'t wreck the place. Not fazed by what the member was saying, the employee stated to them that they could have whatever they\'d like in the joint, but they would have to pay up. The member of the group said that they\'d be sorry, to which the employee liked their style of code, and mentioned that he had a a code of his own.
Meanwhile, another member of the group went over to the table and demanded for a man who was sitting at one of the tables to move. He shoved the man causing him to fall over. As the coat and hat the man was wearing fell off, his body landed on the table lifeless. Upon looking closely at the man, the gang member realized that he was old man Jim by the tag on his uniform. The biker informed the other that he was dead, as the new employee revealed his true self to the men as the Devil telling the boys to pay up.
4 - Eyes of The Ripper. - Artist Greg Duffy
The comic book has many similarities to the EC Comic books from the 1940\'s and 50\'s like \"Tales from the Crypt\" and such
