Half plate daguerreotype in leather case. Woman is holding a closed half-plate daguerreotype in her lap, the man might be holding a small prayer book. Woman has painted gold jewelry.
I haven\'t removed the preserver but the original seals appear to be in place and unbroken. Dag has a tarnish ring and a random tarnish spot or two, including one near the man\'s lap, otherwise looks to be VG. Underside of the glass is a little dirty and/or foggy and could be cleaned. Case is very nice, complete with no repairs.Boxed shipping.
