For your consideration is a Haida by Boma carved resin trinket box. This is Canadian Native folklore art. The box is 1 7/8"" tall and 3" diameter. This box is in good condition and the carvings are intricate faces. It is a very good example of the first nations Haida art work, the art work of the Native Indian Tribes of the Pacific North Coast. The art work was originally made from Argillite, which was mined on the island of Haida belonging to the tribe. This is an example of their art in resin. The bottom and side look to be signed. A great gift or keep for yourself.
