This gorgeous humpback whale is hand-carved from Copal wood. It\'s been painted in rich blues and accented with meticulously painted blue and white designs with 2 rows of tiny silver dots going down the back. The colors on the back are offset by deeply carved white with black throat groves. The carving is fluid, graceful, and is both beautifully hand-carved and painted.
It\'s a rare find.
Approx. 7.25\" nose to tail, x 6.25\" wide (fin to fin) x 2.25\" high.Signed by Gil Santiago.
