This is the MAIDEN VOYAGE OF HER MAJESTY’S HMY BRITANNIA featured in a complete 1954 issue of THE ILLUSTRATED LONDON NEWS! This has two photos of the end of the voyage, including one of QUEEN ELIZABETH and THE DUKE OF EDINBURGH WITH THE CREW. This also has a CENTERFOLD IMAGE OF THE CELEBRATION OF THE QUEEN’S RETURN (20 ½ inches X 14 ½ inches) NOTE THAT THE CENTERFOLD IS LOOSE FROM THE STAPLES. This issue also has a TWO-PAGE SPREAD IN THE WAKE OF THE FALL OF DIEN BIEN PHU. The place (with parachutes as white dots) is shown from above. There is also a PHOTO OF MME DE CASTRIES, WIFE OF THE FRENCH COMMANDER OF DIEN BIEN PHU.
