do not know the true value of this bell as it is a historic one of akind and don\'t know the history behind it, but for being what it isit definitely has to be worth more than the asking price.

Thank Rare HISTORIC 18th Century 1778 cast bronze SpanishMissionChurch Bellwith raised letters & cross. Date: ANO D 1778.
Approximately 18\" in diameter by 12\" (18\" to the top of the crown).
This bell is HEAVY - it weights approximately 115 Pounds.
IMPORTANT: Photo #11 is a photo that i took from the internet - it showsa Mission Bell from San Rafael that is SIMILAR in design to thisone exceptfor the top crown. {Compare Pic# 4 to Pic# 11}.
Photo # 12 is also a photo that i took from the internet where it showsa 19thCentury/Dated1818Mission Bell that SOLD at sale on March,1 2014 for $5,000 - it was estimated at $1,000 to $10,000.
This said bellthat sold for$5,000 on March of 2014(see pic#12) had a 12\" indiameter base, it was made of copper/brassand was 40 years youngerthan thethis one/the one i\'m selling.
The one i have here for you has a very decorative cross, it has the yearand wording of what appears to be \"MARY...DALUPE\"(Virgin Mary Guadalupe?),it is larger in diameter at 18\", HEAVIER(about 115 pounds), made of BRONZE(notbrass or copper),and it is from the 18th Century(it\'s dated 1778)....PLEASE VIEW ALLPICTURES AS THEY ARE PART OF THE DESCRIPTION.
IMPORTANT: There is NO clapper(the clapper is missing).
ALSO: I believe that the wording is in Latin Alphabet to where the \"V\" is suppose to mean \"U\"........BEFORE offerDING TRY TO FIGUREOUT WHAT ALL OF THE WORDING MEANS SO YOU CAN KNOW EXACTLY WHAT YOU ARE BUYING....(based on what i see, i believe that the wording means MARY GUADALUPE?), that\'s what i believe that wording haven\'t had this bell for long and i do not know the history of it - there is a possibilitythat this bell was one of the bells that were thrown out of the wagons when the wagonswheels broke while transporting them and they couldn\'t transport the bell because of theheavy weight, or it can be one of the lost San Juan Capistrano bells that were buried andnever found(i do not know).
The only history that i know about this bell is that it has been HERE in San Antonio,Texas since the turn of the Century(early 1900\'s) - before that i don\'t know where so you know: Pictures don\'t make justice - just wait till you see itin person, you are going to say WOW! WOW!! WOW!!!
What i have here for you is rarest of the rare - a PRICELESS work of art - a truecollectors piece that you will NEVER see again.
