This is an original issue of Harper\'s Weekly from August 28, 1875, featuring a cover and centerfold by Thomas Nast. There is also a Nast political cartoon on last page. The newspaper was printed in the United States and is a valuable collectible for those interested in pre-1900 papers. The Nast cover is torn straight through the middle of page. The full two page Nast woodcut centerfold is in good condition. The corners are tattered but not into the images. Complete 16 page issue with a 4 page supplement. Centerfold subject is a Challenge to all Nations for a Rifle Team Contest. The paper was removed from a bound volume. I\'m valuing this issue only on Nast Centerfold.
I will fold at middle, place between stiff boards, shrink-wrap and mail via Ground Advantage usually the same or next day.
