This is Harry \"Otto\" Walker born in Lathrop, California, in 1890. He started racing in 1911 and joined the HD factory team in 1915. He gave Harley Davidson its first national win that year-a 300 mile road race at Venice, California. In 1921 Otto became the first rider to be clocked at over 100 mph, he did it at a one mile board track in Fresno, California. Otto broke Six American Speed records in 1922 at the Board Track of Beverly Hills Speedway. He retired from motorcycle racing at the end of the 1922 season and ran a sports fishing service. He died in 1963. He is in the Motorcycle Hall of Fame.
