HANDMADE PATCHWORK REVERSIBLE QUILT XL TWIN SIZE THROW BLANKET BEDSPREAD TOPPER 96x66 ANTIQUE Up for your consideration is this Very Nice Antique Hand Stitched Patchwork Quilt with decorative hand ties. This beautiful quilt was completely handmade sometime around the 1950\'s and features a variety of colored squares with some having floral designs and some having checkered patterns, and some having groovy vintage patterns which all come together to create a masterpiece. Throughout the quilt there are larger peachy colored squares with a singular flower in the center which give this blanket somewhat of a uniform feel instead of a completely chaotic, haphazardly thrown together design. There are also decorative green hand ties throughout and the opposite side of the quilt is a toned down light green and blue plaid design so that you have a choice between a bold statement or more of a neutral statement. As you can see in the pictures it is not made with a thick polyester backing. It consists of the patchwork top, the plaid backing, and possibly a thin inner lining however we are not sure if it has an inner layer since we did not cut it open. It was not made for warmth in mind and more of a decorative blanket for the top of the bed or back of the couch. This would make a great display blanket amongst your rustic / country decor or as a gorgeous bed topper however it can be used as a blanket and will provide a cozy, warm option for movie night or lounging. As for condition it is overall excellent for its age with only one damaged square so please read the condition for more details. The only mentionable is one square is damaged as you can see in the pictures and it shows some signs or wear from use over the years as expected.
