This Griswold no. 5 sbl cast iron skillet measures 8 1/16" rim to rim and sits flat enough to be used on a glass top stove. The cooking surface is very smooth with a little bit of the original swirls and some utensil marks. The bottom is nice although has extremely extremely light pitting at 11 o'clock and under the logo. I provided many pictures in different lighting/angles to show the true condition of the pan.
This pan was cleaned to bare iron with electrolysis and seasoned four times and is ready to use.
