This is a used chicken fryer that shows wear with scuffs and minor scratches from normal use.
The fryer sits mostly flat on my granite countertop with the slightest wobble. The lid has a slight wobble on the fryer.
The cooking surface is smooth and is where most of the wear is found. The bottom of the fryer shows minor surface blemishes, possibly due to high heat. There are no cracks or repairs on either piece.
This cast iron piece was given a lye bath and then lightly coated with vegetable oil to prevent rust. It has NOT been properly seasoned because my idea of proper seasoning may be different than yours.
