Up for grabs is a beautifully restored Griswold #8 704 slant logo cast iron skillet.

The pan was stripped to bare metal using a lye bath, spent time in an electrolysis tank for rust removal, and seasoned 3 times with a blend of beeswax, Crisco and grapeseed oil for a beautiful smooth finish. It has not been used since restoration.

This is a great piece with no rust, cracks, or repairs. There is pitting across the back which will not affect the use of this piece. It sits perfectly flat with zero spin on a flat surface. The cooking surface has a beautifully smooth finish with minor imperfection.

As with any 100+ year old piece of cast iron, the surface can have discoloration and utensil marks which will even out and darken with use. See photos for details.

This piece will outlive all of us and may become a cherished family heirloom.
