JADEITE GLASS BLACK BAND GREASE JAR w/ LID!
This is a very gorgeous Jadeite Depression Style Glass Black Band Covered Grease Jar! This large grease drippings jar is even more gorgeous in person, with great classic craftsmanship and beautiful jadeite color. This jar has the attractive black letters \"GREASE\" on the front, along with the iconic black bands that circle the entire jar! The lid the cute top knot for easy removal. This heavy jar was made from very sturdy thick glass, and measures 6\" tall by 5 & 1/2\" in diameter at the top, tapering down to approx. 2 & 3/4\" along the base. This beautiful jar is in overall excellent condition with no chips or cracks, however please note the lid doesn\'t seat correctly across approx. 1/4 of the seal. Neither the lid nor the jar appear to be warped where they meet, but there seems to be a very slight misshapenness of the opening of the jar that is keeping the lid from seating all the way flush. This small gap can only be seen from certain viewing angles when on display. Please see all pictures for details, and take advantage of the huge discount in pricing due to this manufacturing flaw!When packing this item, I use a large amount of bubble wrap and bio-degradable packing peanuts for this items safe travels to its new home!
