REDUCED!!!There are 3 green French Majolica salad plates by Sarreguemines for sale - each sold separately. Each measures approx. 7 1/2 inches in diameter. Pattern is embossed grapes/leaves with panel rim in monochrome green. They started producing this pattern in 1840.Back of each plate has 3 dots that are kiln marks and normal and expected. One plate has 2 very small white areas that look to be uncolored pottery but has a glaze covering it. I conclude it is a manufacturing flaw. (See pic #2) One plate has a small chip on the back side and there is some crazing (these plates are 183 years old!). There are no other chips, cracks or repairs - only as previously mentioned. Back of plate has a black stamp that says "Sarreguemines, France". Refer to pictures as they are part of the description. Comes from a pet and smoke free environment. Shipping is $8.00 for one plate and $2.00 for each additional plate.
