This is an interesting,135 page booklet titled North Wales: The British Tyrol. It was issued by theGreat Western Railway in 1911 (this is a 2nd edition). The main featureof the booklet is the pull out map at the back titled “Great Western RailwayMap Of North Wales: The British Tyrol. It is at 5 miles to 1 inch scale and wasengraved and lithographed by W. & A.K. Johnston. The contents havedescriptions of areas of North Wales; a small section on train fares and alarge section of illustrated adverts (no colour).

Condition: in goodcondition overall. Binding is good. Map is in very good condition. The papercovers are a bit frayed along the edges with some damage to the spin. No markson the pages – just some biro on the front cover. Slight repair to title page.
