This unique, signed/stamped Govancroft minature jug is a stunning example of cobalt blue stoneware. With a round shape and stoneware style, it measures 5 inches in height, 4 inches in depth, and 3 inches in width. Weighing 1 lb 2 oz, this jug is made of ceramic and porcelain and is handmade, dating back to 1900-1940. It comes packaged in a box and is an original piece, not a reproduction. The maker, as shown on the embossed label, is Govancroft Stoneware. Crafted in Scotland, this minature jug would make a great addition to any collection. This jug is pre-owned and actually looks black until it’s set in the light. There are some minor scratches but no cracks, chips or crazing. Please see photos.
