This is a very good condition rug for its age. From Mexico from mid 1900s. This wool rug has beautiful brown and cream tones. Dark brown stepped border with a lighter brown inner rectangle frame set in cream background. Design is the same on both sides. The natural wool fibers have a “frayed look” that is just part of its design. This isn’t a flaw this is how this rug is intended to look. Measures approximately 67 inches by 34 inches. This rug is not new and has been used but still in good condition with lots of life and beauty left to give. Cream color has some variations (see photos). I don’t believe this is staining but rather variations in fiber color. Please feel free to ask any questions.
