HELLO! WELCOME TO found this very unusual, small, heavy, molten, gold tone piece of metal when metal detecting. It\'s was about 4\" deep in the ground and rang up like a quarter.I used 14k & 22k acid on it to clean it up because it was covered with grime that I could not wash off with soap and water.. The second & third time I cleaned it, the acid turned green, it gave off an orange gas, and after maybe 40 seconds the acid became blue in color but the piece remains gold looking and when you move it around it changes color with a slight copper hugh to it.Very sparkly like a reflector. It weighs exactly 20.0 grams and is only 1 1/4\" x 3/4\"x 1/2\".Also, the metal did not receive any damage from the acid.I took it to a jeweler that tested it with an electronic type gold tester and told me that it was not gold so I\'m not sure what it is.Be sure to check all my other vintage & hard to find items before you go!
