The best way to pan this ore is to add a few drops of DAWN dish soap to the water as you pan... This will settle any small particles of gold, that would otherwise float out as you pan.... This gold is flour gold (so very common in the California Desert).We have sold a lot of this in the past to teachers, so they could teach their students how to pan for gold, along with their teachings of the 1849 California Gold Rush....
