I don\'t recommend scooping ice cream from the freezer. A bit like my fine China or Crystal, I enjoy washing and buffing my own pieces dry and setting them out for display. Just stunning. Unwrapped pieces are nestled inside the box as pictured, new in box! These are not solid gold and specific composition and weight are not known, however our family loves them and has enjoyed our set without any problems. Nicks and scratches may develop and we find it really only adds to the beauty. Pieces out of the box are my own which have washed up and worn very nicely here at our country mountain estate. Handmade in appearance, patina and shading are satin and vary slightly on each piece as a natural variation. Each piece is a work of art!
