This is an antique, Victorian Era, miniature,Glow Lamp, with the ORIGINAL Milk Glass Melon Shade& RARE, Glass Wick Holder. PAT\'D 1895.*The shades on these lamps, slide onto grooves on the neck of the clear base and there are tiny bumps on the inside of the milk glass shade. Then you \'twist\' the shade slightly to \'lock\' it in place on the base.It has it\'s original GLASS wick holder and wick!(These glass wick holders are usually missing)*It measures approximately 5.0\" high and 4.0\" in diameter.These are very hard to find, complete.
