Description of the production of Aurora: After the casting and the polishing process, the white sculpture is handpainted with a covering gold paint. When the gold color is completely dried the figurine is antiqued with a very dark black/brown paint. This color, while still wet is partially removed giving the sculpture a bronze affect and creating a \"chiaroscuro\" treatment; then the clothes and the details are colored and brushed on and then layers above the bronze colored surface, thus creating the final, greenish effect.
