Crafted in Japan during the mid-40s to early 50s, this 4-inch vibrantly painted figure features a Victorian male dressed in a powdered wig, purple jacket, green vest, puffy shirt with bow, peach knickers and pointed heels. Its handpainted detailng and high gloss finishis oustanding from most examples of the period and adds to its charm and elegance.Styled after German Meissen Fine Porcelain, this piece was manufactured during the occupation of Japan by an unmarked factory.
