German Bundeswehr Style Fixed Blade Combat Knife
This style of Kampfmesser (combat knife) was used by the German army from 1968 to 1992. It has been manufactured by various campanies, this one is made by Mil-Tec, which is marked on the blade, the other side is marked Rostfrei (stainless steel). The blade is 5 3/4" long, factory sharp. The sheath is metal, with leather belt strap. The grip is olive green, it has a functioning release button. It is unused, it appears to be factory new, although there is a minor flaw in the plastic grip near one of the screws. Some of these Kampfmessers have "BW" stamped on the grip, but this Mil-Tec is unmarked. The blade has no scratches.
