ITEM: German case metal plate. Appears to be the unit 35th Year Anniversary. NOTE: If anyone can ident the unit --would appreciate it. This is a plaque plate. It was originally on a wooden background. This is part of a huge lot of German unit plaques that dated to late 1970s to late 1980s. The unit was at Fort Rucker, AL-------during the time. The unit took the large lot of plaques the originated mostly in Germany---and brought them them to Fort Rucker. On their reassignment back to Germany----for whatever reason (probably weight) the unit decided to just part with them. Most of the plaques were complete---some had a glued piece fall off. I found most but this piece came off the wood plaque---see glue on the back. So selling as is. The plate thickness is 50mm thick and almost 5 inches vertically.
