Rare 1932 George Washington Bicentenary CommemorativePlates - made in England by Crown Ducal.This transferware plate measures approximately 8 1/4\" inches across, and has a white backgroundwith blue images. The plate hasa decorative border with a centralimagefeaturing John Adams proposing George Washington for Commander-in-Chief of the American Army.

Excellent condition - no chips, cracks, stains, marks or repairs. Light crazing, which is typical of antique china. Small manufacturing blip in glazing (see last picture), but it is barely noticeable. Any reflection, distortion or shadow in the photos is the result of camera and lighting issues.
