WHERE DID IT COME FROM: I Located a QUARTZ vein in Jamestown, California. AKA “The Motherlode” or the “queen of the southern mines” and home of the Harvard Mine which produced the largest crystalline gold nugget ever found at a whopping 44 pounds. In addition to the nugget, the mine often produced 12 or more ounces of Gold per every 1 ton of material processed, which are staggering numbers.
