Gabriel Voisin [1880 1973]was aprominent French aviation pioneer, aircraft designer and builder who built the first manned engine-powered heavy then air aircraft which completed a controlled flight on January 13, 1908 in France.After building and designing many record setting aircraft Voisin founded the Voisin Aircraft Company and built and supplied aircraft for France during World War I. After the war he concentrated his efforts on making automobiles until he retired in the 1950\'s. Listed for sale is the autograph of Gabriel Voisinsigned twice on a vintage postcard. The postcard contains a early aircraft image on the frontand is signed \'\'Gabriel Voisin\'\' in black fountain and signed again \'\'Gabriel Voisin\'\' in black fountain pen on the verso. The card measures5.00 x 3.25 inches andis in finecondition. Theautographsare authentic, rare to obtainand will be a desirable addition to any aviation collection.
