Group lot of 3 vintage CROCKETT port bits. From left to right in the first picture:
Low port grazing bit with engraved conchos. Most of the plating is worn off, light surface rust and overall signs of use and wear. Marked on the inside of the cheek. Shanks are 6 3/4\" long and the mouth is approx. 5 1/8\" wide.
Grazing bit with long diamond mountings on the cheeks. Part of the plating is worn off, light surface rust and signs of use and wear. Marked on the mouth (appears that the mark is double struck, one going each direction..?) Shanks are 7\" long and the mouth is approx. 5\" wide.
Low port grazing bit with silver mountings, rein rings. Marked ST in several places and also marked CROCKETT on the mouth but the mark is very worn and hard to make out. Nice condition, minimal signs of use and wear. Shanks are 6 1/2\" long, 7 3/4\" including the rings; the mouth is approx. 5 1/8\" wide.
