This vintage real photo postcard featuresGreta Garbo (1905-1990) a Swedish-American actress during the 1920s and 1930s. She began her career in Sweden before moving to Hollywood in the late 1920s. Garbo was one of the biggest stars of her time, known for her striking beauty and magnetic screen presence. She appeared in a number of critically acclaimed films, including \"Anna Christie,\" \"Mata Hari,\" \"Grand Hotel,\" \"Queen Christina,\" and \"Ninotchka.\" Garbo was also known for her reclusiveness and desire for privacy, and retired from acting in 1941. Despite this, she remains one of the most iconic figures in the history of cinema. This portrait postcard was published by Ross Verlag (Berlin) as part of a series (6215/1). Note the logo for MGM in the bottom right corner of the image. This postcard is in very good condition (see scans).
