For your offerding consideration, a pair of spectacular fine porcelain vases in the form of Nautilus Shells - by Gillet & Briancon - Paris, France - pearlware exhibiting stunning effulgence and iridescence. Measurements in images (9 1/2\" height). Circa 1857. Condition is very good - there are two very small areas that show professional repair, on the interior of each vase at the edges (see images). Presentation of these vases is superb - beautifuly executed in all of their delicate beauty. SIGNIFICANT PRICE REDUCTION ON 05/22/22!!

\"Jules-Joseph-Henri Brianchon (d. 1880) worked in partnership with his brother-in-law, a M. Gillet, from several Paris addresses between 1855 and 1880. In 1857 he patented \'couleurs nacrees\' (pearly colours) based on bismuth-gold, uranium and palladium salts.
