This is a 1st print of the book. Near Mint.\"Taking the Plunge\" Baroness insults Zarana\'s hair during a helicopter ride to the Cobra Consulate, leading to a fight between the two. Road Pig tries to intervene by kicking Baroness out of the helicopter, but she manages to hold onto the landing gear as they touch down. The fight is eventually stopped by Destro, who reminds them of their main objective: brainwashing Clutch and Rock & Roll.The Dreadnoks oversee the final brainwashing of Clutch, erasing his memories of Broca Beach and replacing them with false memories of being held on a Cobra submarine. Zarana plans to transfer the prisoners to a genuine submarine and let them escape from it. They set off in a convoy, with Zarana and Road Pig transporting the prisoners in an ice cream van. Baroness calls a G.I. Joe cover line and lets them know Clutch and Rock & Roll are on the van. Hawk and Dialtone listen in.Meanwhile, in Switzerland, Snake-Eyes and Scarlett arrive at a facial reconstruction clinic where Snake-Eyes is scheduled to have surgery. The receptionist tells them Dr. Hundtkinder will see them shortly. Later, Hundtkinder examines Snake-Eyes and compares a photograph of him before the accident with his currently scarred face.The Cobra convoy is ambushed by the Tiger Cat and Tiger Sting, resulting in a brief gun battle and the capture of the Dreadnoks. Lift-Ticket arrives in Tomahawk to transport the freed prisoners, but their efforts are hampered by a group of angry motorists who object to the highway being blocked. In the confusion, the Dreadnoks manage to take off in the ice cream van with Clutch and Rock & Roll still inside. The Joes pursue in the Tomahawk, leaving the motorway blocked.Baroness contacts Dr. Hundtkinder, who has realized that his patient is with GI Joe. After seeing an old photo of Snake-Eyes, Baroness recognizes him as the assassin who killed her brother in Saigon. Zarana contacts Baroness to explain that their plan was to let Clutch and Rock & Roll escape, but since the Joes are now in pursuit, she decides to detonate a bomb on board the ice cream van as a contingency plan. This will ship bagged and boarded to ensure the stability of the book for a long term.Grading is very subjective Please check the pictures to judge for your self.
