French Santon De Provence Figurine Folk Art 14\" SIGNED Farmer Woman w/ Chickens:

Gently pre-loved, vintage, and signed SANTON de PROVENCE terracotta clay figure of a senior farmer woman strategically carrying both her chickens and their eggs! This piece of folk art is simply exquisite, almost 14\" tall, and signed on the base by S. Jouglas. The details are amazing -- from the carved feathers of the chickens to the delicate painting of the lady\'s silvery eyebrows. The clothing is real, not molded, and of high quality that you can immediately feel -- thicker and well tailored for the figure. And so many extras -- the basket, cage, eggs, scarf, etc! This piece is brimming with character and charm! Please note that her hand is detached from the cage on her head but she still displays without issue when the basket is adjusted just right atop her head! The piece weighs in at over a pound, so shipping is on me, folks!
