Gently pre-loved, vintage, and signed SANTON de PROVENCE terracotta clay figure of a farmer with his chicken. This piece of folk art is about 10\" tall and signed on the base byG. Devouassoux. There are numerous markings on the underside as well (see photos). The details are amazing -- from the wrinkles on the face to the chicken\'s feathered carvings. Also, the clothing is real, not molded, and of high quality that you can immediately feel -- thicker and well tailored for the figure. The painting is impressive! The piece is almost a pound, so shipping is on me, folks!
