Presenting this beautiful French Antique Japy Freres Bronze Bell Striking Mantle Clock.

An architectural bronze Louis XVI style French

mantle clock, 19th century, with maker's

mark for Japy Frees, key and pendulum,

having an enamel dial with Roman numerals and minute markings set within two ram heads columns and garlands and finials to the pediment body

surmounted by urns with ribbons.

The tiered base with rope and acanthus

borders and a central mascaron, raised on

square section shaped feet, french mantle clock in a beautiful architectural case which is full of decoration and fine casting. At the top is a big urn type final decorated with ribbon and scrolls. It Measures 15”tall x 10 1/2”wide x 4 1/2”deep.

The movement with count wheel escapement has the mark of well known maker 'Japy Freres' and is nice and clean. The clock is working and ticking condition. It comes with pendulum and windup key.
