Fowler 5” (FPU/Bison) Bench Vise, Excellent Condition w/ Magnetic Soft Jaws:

Up for sale is a 5” Fowler brand (Bison/FPU made) bench vise in excellent condition.

The vise is branded Fowler but was made by Bison/FPU in Poland. They have a very distinct vise profile and the rear dynamic jaw is a clear indicator of its European roots.

Condition is excellent with light signs of use. The jaws have remained nice due to light use and the use of soft jaws during most of its life.

The vise has 5” wide jaws and a throat depth of 3 3/8”. Max safe opening width is 5 1/2” and it weighs just under 48lbs

It looks like it has a 3 digit date code stamped on the jaw tower that reads 4/77
