Allowed defects for this grade include: spine roll, a moderate amount of staining or water damage, writing or other marks on the cover, up to one inch spine splits or other tears, a cover or centerfold that is detached at one staple, discoloration due to oxidation, and a minor piece or pieces missing. An item could be assigned this grade due to either an accumulation of minor/moderate defects or one or two major defects.

Description

Indicia title is "Walt Disney's MICKEY MOUSE AND THE BEANSTALK, No. 157." Cover art by Don Gunn. Mickey and the Beanstalk, art by Harvey Eisenberg; Famine strikes Happy Valley when the Golden Harp is stolen; After Mickey trades his cow for some magic beans, a giant beanstalk grows into the sky, taking Mickey, Goofy, and Donald's house with it; In the land in the sky, the three go to the giant's castle and rescue the Golden Harp; Adapted from Mickey and the Beanstalk in the animated feature Fun and Fancy Free (1947). Pluto Keeps It Quiet, art by Harvey Eisenberg; Mickey gets a job as a night watchman and Pluto tries to keep the house completely quiet when Mickey sleeps during the day. 52 pages, full color.
