This great picture collage salutes the siege of Fort Stanwix by British Forces under the command of St. Ledger. The siege was lifted after the Battle of Oriskany when General Nicholas Herkimer defeated the British saving Fort Stanwix and the Mohawk Valley from a British Invasion and helping to lead to the victory at Saratoga. The collage features apicture depicting Fort Satnwix. It was at this battle that the Grand Union Flag was replaced by the first truly American flag. Highlighting the collage is the stamp issued to honor the 1777 Stars and Stripes flag.Overall, a great collectible for anyhistory Buff.

The size of this matted picture is 8\" x 10\" and will fit any 8\" x 10\" inch frame. (a standard size).

I make all these collages by hand. As a history buff as well as a lover of old movies and all types of sports, the key to each picture is the research behind it. Deciding what movies should go with a particular star or what game or series would best reflect a certain sports hero is crucial to a successful collage. I then design each picture individually and lay out the design on the mat. Finally, I cut each mat based on that design and assemble the collage.
