Based on a layer of green material, octohedral crystals, stairstepped like an Inca pyramid, formed first and then were topped with single purple cubic crystals. I’m sure the experts have a name for this kind of growth. The specimen was encased in thick red mud, and it is still stained a reddish color which refuses for surrender to iron out. 3 inches at longest at base. No international sales.
