Florida fossilized shark teeth matrix collected from Englewood/Venice area beach shelf eroded from Peace River. Miocene and Pliocene era sediment generally yield teeth from bull shark, dusky shark, lemon shark, tiger shark, sandtiger shark, snaggletooth, and mako shark. Mouth plates and barbs from rays are also common findings in Florida matrix. Beach sifted teeth can be expected to range from 1/8 inch to 3/4 inch. Larger teeth such as meglodon are generally located offshore via snorkel and scuba and are not to be expected in beach sifted matrix on a regular basis. This is unsearched matrix that you will you need to sift and search but I do load all matrix with 5 bonus teeth to insure all bags have some \"treasure.\"
