Let me just say I love this quilt! I’m only parting with it because it’s very heavy and likely not a piece I would use in Florida. This is a quilt that would definitely keep you warm in the winter time up north.

Patchwork quilt made of old feed sack patterns on the front, solid dark green on the reverse and heavy batting within. I’m unsure of the time period of this piece, but I have seen a couple of these old patterns online.

There is no mending needed between the squares. The only “flaws” I could find is the grayish tan, solid colored feed sack shown a few times throughout the quilt has some small holes in it in places. In fact, in an attempt to see what batting is used, I used a magnifying app to take a still photo of one of the holes magnified. If you look at the last two photos, you will see the square I’m referring to pictured normally in one photo and the hole extremely magnified in the last photo. I believe the batting is a wool blanket, or possibly a blanket made of a wool blend. It has been knotted throughout the quilt as well as to not bunch up. The knotting has held nicely.

The only other “flaw” is the light pale yellow solid feed sack squares placed a few times throughout the quilt seem to have dirt or stains on them. See picture #11 & #12 as examples. I have not worked on getting these squares cleaned, but I definitely think it’s possible to remove the dirt that exists.

Outside of these two things, the quilt is in great vintage condition. It measures approximately 90” in length and 65” in width.

Combined Shipping

I will combine shipping when it’s possible and safe to do so. Please contact me before purchasing so I can make the necessary adjustment. I cannot refund any savings if you purchase & pay for the items before the adjustment has been made.

International Buyers

While most of my items ship within the US only, I am open to shipping internationally. If the item weighs more than a pound, I round up to the next pound as it doesn’t make a difference when shipping within the US once the item exceeds a pound. It does however make a difference when shipping internationally, so please message me for a more accurate, likely cheaper, shipping quote. Any and all custom fees, additional taxes, etc. are the responsibility of the international buyer.

Problems or Issues Upon Delivery

Should you have any issues upon receiving your item, please contact me first to discuss. If an oversight has occurred on my part, I will take the necessary steps to resolve the issue.

Damaged Items

While I cannot control what happens to the package once it leaves my hands, I will assist the buyer in filing a claim with the carrier should the item arrive damaged. The carrier will need pictures of the box, packaging/wrapping used and damaged item, along with proof of purchase and a picture of the item before it shipped (listing photos.) Buyer must hold on to the item and packaging until they pay on the claim as sometimes the carrier will ask that the item be physically brought in to them to inspect. Again, please notify me within a week of delivery so we can get the situation resolved as quickly as possible together.

Item Not Received

If you haven’t received your item in the expected timeframe, please contact me. I always purchase my labels through so you will have the tracking information the moment I create the label. If the item shows delivered, I recommend contacting the carrier and your neighbors to see if a mistake was made by USPS. There has been an uptick in “Porch Pirate” thefts or mailbox theft, and I cannot be held responsible for what happens once the item has been delivered. I highly recommend anyone who has been a victim of mail theft to report it to their local police station, regardless of the cost of the item.

Return Policy

I do accept returns on most items; however, if an item is damaged or defaced by the customer, or if a new item is returned opened, used or without the tag(s) attached, the refund amount will be reduced by up to 50% as allowable by . By purchasing this item, you are agreeing to this store policy.
