Marvel Comics presents the Fantasy Masterpieces (vol 2) starring the Silver Surfer, issue #2 through issue number #14. All first prints. Published betweenJanuary 1980 and January 1981. These books reprints the original Silver Surfer stories in sequence, even presenting the original covers. Issue #11 is not a Fantasy Masterpiece issue, but sold with an accompanying Silver Surfer figurine (not included). It does reprint the original story from Silver Surfer #ll, \"O Bitter Victory!\". All issues written by the one and only, Stan Lee. Penciled and covers by John Buscema. These issues features the Silver Surfer (Norrin Radd) and Shalla Bal. Zenn-La, Mephisto, Thor, The Gardener, The Overlord, Heir of Frankenstein, The Flying Dutchman, The Abomination, The Doomsday Man, and Spider-Man. In the up-coming Fantastic Four movie, it is rumored that Shalla Bal has been cast and becomes the Silver Surfer, thus her appearances have become significant! Issue #8 also begins a back-up feature reprinting the Adam Warlock storyline begun in Strange Tales #178 and continuing subsequent issues through Strange Tales #180, (#11 does not have Strange Tales #181 reprint) then reprinting Warlock #9, #10, and #11. But Wait...that is not all. The issues #2, #3, #10, #12, #13, and #14 are Newsstand Editions.
