For sale is a Fantastic Antique primitive turned horn cup with wrought iron clip. This straight horn has very beautiful and bold turning over its length. It is in great condition, but has all the wear in the right places to give it an old world feel. The areas of wear are just behind the clip suggesting that this was in fact used as a serviceable and practical item.

Such items were used often in the 18th century with travelers or soldiers. It is likely a drinking cup. Similar forms are also used as whetstone holders, but such a high style makes it unlikely.

No worm holes or cracks. All things are secure and stable. Age appropriate surface wears and imperfections are to be expected. Please check photos from all angles for detailed condition.
