For sale is a fancy Antique DATED 1839 Needlework Sampler Framed under glass. Mary Ann Dale at age 10 in year 1839. This is a highly figural sampler with most of its space adored by arrangement of birds, deer, vases, and basket. A small section of religious verse in the upper center location and the makers signature at the lower half.
The work is framed under glass with a wide frame. The frame measures 14” H by 15.5” wide. There is a small tear of the fabric at the bottom right corner which has been carefully laid flat. There are also a few tiny holes near the bottom flower motif. Not affecting the stitches. Not too noticeable. All remaining area is in excellent condition!
