PRODUCT DETAILS : This is a Polish Lancer squadron Czapka (Or Chapska) ofNapoleon's Imperial Guard. This hat is a reproduction, but made by the verysame master craftsmen who make the hats and uniforms required by the museum ofLes Invalides in the Musée de lArmée in Paris, the famous French MilitaryMuseum and tomb of Emperor Napoleon himself, so as you can imagine, it is ofthe strictest and highest quality. We have had this in our collection for manyyears, and it was made to display a real Napoleonic Imperial Guard lancer capplate, but we received a reproduction plate already on the hat when it arrived.The plate is to the same high standards as the rest of the hat, but if you areinterested in the real plate, we have that for sale too separately. Abeautifully made hat.
