Fischer Stone was created by George Fisher in the 1960\'s by accident. Mr. Fisher was treating natural looking for the effect of color transformation from white to blue-green in color. After removal from the solution, a small piece of iron was introduced upon the agate causing a displacement of the copper, seeping into the microscopic pores of the stone which caused iron contamination in the Agate dendrites to form. Today, Fisher Stones are a rare find and sought after by collectors.
