I am offering for sale this FINE CLEAN USER Antique Stanley Bailey No 6 Type 11 1910-18 Fore Plane Inv#NY73

Here we have a fine MINT CONDITION Stanley Bailey No 6 Type 11, 1910-18 Fore Plane that has been taken apart, cleaned and now ready to go. The rosewood tote & knob are in excellent condition, no cracks or repairs. It has three US Patent\'s behind frog Mar-25-02, Aug-19-02 & Apr-19-10. It has the No 6 at tail end and Bailey at toe. It is obvious that this plane hasn\'t seen much battle and was well cared for. The sole and cheeks have no issues & have cleaned up nicely. The plane measures approx., 18\" x 3\". The cutter has a Stanley V-Logo Made in USA. The long-life cutter is clean & it measures 7-7/8\" L x 2-3/8\" W. I always suggest sharpening to get it back to an optimal cutting edge. Stanley is marked horizontal on the lateral adjustment lever.
PLEASE NOTE: I DO NOT true-up soles or sharpen cutters, I leave that up to you, the expert...

Some say that the Stanley No 6 is the most useful of all bench plane, wouldn\'t you agree!!
