I am listing a group of various nice Antique Items and Artwork this week as I find Here is an OUTSTANDING ANTIQUE FOLK ART MADE JEWELRY-TYPE CHEST OR BOX, COVERED WITH WONDERFUL CARVED AND APPLIED EAGLES, HEARTS, STARS, DIAMONDS, PILLARS AND FERN-LIKE LEAVES ON THE EXTERIOR. Box is 15-5/8\"L x 6-3/4\"W x 7\"H. Probably made specially for a sweetheart judging by the motifs on and inside box. I would guess this box to be c.Early-20thC vintage or thereabouts by the looks of it. The interior of box with extra applied motifs of Cupid Heart with Arrow, Eagle and Moon with framed mirror inside lid. Has a nice removeable top shelf which is painted gold like the eagles and stars on the front of box. Box has brass mounts on top corners along with brass front latch for locking with a padlock. Clean green felt on interior bottoms. Has a chain for holding lid up. Box is in nice, solid, condition and closes nice and tight. They don\'t come much nicer than this. The box is coated with a varnish perhaps in its more recent history. Great antique folk art box coming out of a long-time high-end antique collector\'s estate. Will pack with care for buyer.
