This interesting sack has blocks 3" x 1 1/2"with a variety of interesting patterns in royal blue, yellow, white, gray, green, and orange on orange and gray on a green background that look to me like oriental rugs
It measures 36" x 44" and is in excellent crisp clean unused condition I am happy to answer your questions about any of my items or policies. Payment to be received PROMPTLY after close of sale. I give free USA shipping Feedsacks Back to Top Feedsacks were made in printed material starting early 20th C thru WW2 for ladies to have inexpensive material to use for sewing. Each milling area would have their own prints. Mostly used for chicken feed and rabbit pellets, as people raised their own food. Feedsacks vary some in size but are generally 1 1/4 yds of cotton material. A lady in Florida has collected swatches for print and has over 25,000 different ones. Feedsacks were made of 100% cotton and are a bit coarser(I Do Not sell the really coarse kind) than dress weight cotton, after that time they are usually a blend. A lot of the quilts that date to that time period are made from feedsack scraps. I hope this has been of some help. I am always available to answer any questions you may have on textiles.
